Four generations of Nelsons have owned and operated Nelson's Resort since they first rented the property on Crane Lake back in 1930. The fifth generation lives on site and will likely take over when they're ready.
Just off the Canadian border, with easy access to the BWCA or Voyageurs National Park, Nelson's is made up of 27 classic cabins, many of which are original made from hand-hewn logs. Nelson's sits on 2,920 acre Crane Lake, known for its abundant walleye population as well as good northern pike, smallmouth bass, and yellow perch populations. A great location for a classic family getaway.
